The Town of Golden is situated in the Kootenay region of south-eastern British Columbia. It lies between two mountain ranges (the Columbia Mountains and the Rocky Mountains), and at the junction of two heritage rivers (the Columbia River and the Kicking Horse River). The closest international airport is the Calgary International Airport, a three hour (280km) drive to Golden along the scenic Trans Canada Highway. On the day of the wedding, board the Golden Eagle Express Gondola at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort for a scenic ride to the terrace where we will say our "I Do's". Signs and attendants will direct you where to go.
